Good Question, I had to ask our Y2K project leader about this one. He
says that we don't do too many date additions, ect., but where we do
them, we will use the conversion routines first, then do the date
addition/subtraction and then if the result needs to be stored in the
database, convert the result back into aammdd format. Not the most
galmorous, but it works.
Sorry I kinda jumped on you Jim, I just thought you were being a bit
harsh on the original poster.
