I downloaded and built the NCSA httpd from jazz, and it works fine so far. Ok, I have
not tried lots of funky stuff yet, but it looks pretty stable. Is there some
particular reason why you're after the Apache server ?
What I like to know is: what is the difference between all these webservers. We have

        NCSA httpd
        CERN httpd
        Apache httpd
        OpenMarket Webserver

and who knows what other variants. I understand that OpenMarket is the only
commerecial one as yet on MPE, but apart from that, how would it matter which one
you pick ? httpd's task is merely to serve the HTTP protocol, which is pretty much
standardized (I think).

Can anyone shed some light on this ?
TIA
