Now wouldn't it be nice if all the VM approachs utilized the same VM base?
One could conceptually(?) actually mix languages then.  Somehow I do not think
that's going to happen anytime soon.

Note: AcuCobol also uses a VM approach to let their COBOL run all o\ver the
place.
