One year and two days having my position eliminated by CGI Information
Systems and scoundrels in particular, I will be starting work. It is a
contract position (insert level of indirection joke here) in a Microsoft
shop, and for a company that Microsoft essentially started. I will begin by
providing technical support to an EMR application, or more accurately,
everything but the kitchen sink, since the product is an entire network.
Ironically, I will begin by supporting a legacy product, and by building
servers my first week on the job. I have high hopes that this opportunity
has a bright future. We will see.



Now, I just need to figure out how to reinstall my expired Office 2003 eval.
