In response to a question during the 9/30 TCU, Alvina Nishimoto of HP
gave an eta of June 1998 for MPE/iX 6.0. Recent history suggests that
date will probably slip to the third quarter since, despite other
comments on the list, I think there will be major functionality in 6.0.
We have the recent announcement of Netscape Fastrack Server, which has
to be ported and tested, the job queues and TurboImage scalability that
was discussed at IPROF, plus several other projects such as System CI
variables that might not see distribution until 6.0.
