I've got several Christian minister friends from India who started a
Bible college in the southern Indian regions a few years back, and
almost daily they were harassed and threatened by neighbors and the
Hindu police. Some of their students were beaten and they told countless
stories of Christians being killed.

Just thought I would add that in.

However, despite the persecution, the Christian underground churches in
china are massive. They number in the 10s of thousands.

Cheers and have a great weekend,

Colin

Scott,

This drifts remarkably off-topic, but there are still plenty of places
where
Christians are as persecuted, and more so, than they were under Nero and
company. People are killed for being Christian in China and the Middle
East
today. The persecution that occurs in the U.S. is generally quite mild,
but
shocks one's sensibilities. I'm sure that this is eminently googlable.
