Glenn,

if you are using the HP supplied JDBC server in @.JDBC.SYS
then you can pick up the appropriate JDBC driver classes for
Java in the files /SYS/JDBC/DRIVER@ (three different package
flavours... tar, jar, zip) and install the classes (or jar)
on your client platform (MPE, Unix, Linux, Windows, etc) and
then use them to connect to the 3000 databases.

  also see http://docs.hp.com/en/36216-90217/ch03s03.html

You may also find an example that I used on HP 3000 as
well as non-HP-3000 platforms at the following web page:

  http://www.editcorp.com/Personal/Lars_Appel/JavaDemo/

There is a JdbcProgram and JdbcApplet example source.

If you are using the Minisoft or MB Foster implementations
of JDBC for TurboIMAGE, then I assume that the concept will
be similiar, you just need to pick up the driver class jar
somewhere else than in JDBC.SYS ;-)

Regards, Lars.
