When we updated from 6.0 to 6.5 we had an error which was due to a script
which aborted when it encountered special characters in the "Welcome"
message.

I spent many hours doing updates to our systems only to find that the CSTM
and Predictive were not working on all of the systems.  The suggested
solution per HP is to update with a reactive patch.  Which means that the
update I did was a waste of time.  That is, I'll need to send nearly as much
time now applying the patches.
