An email I got this morning confirming my registration, said there will
be free wireless access provided by Cisco at the conference. It did not
specifically detail where at the conference, but I presume in the breakout
rooms and on the Expo floor. Of course I could be completely wrong and
the access is only in the resturants and restrooms.

If you're going to use a public-access internet kiosk anywhere,
keep security in mind. E.g., is there a keystroke recorder installed?
Is the wire tapped? While not likely, do you want to count on it?
If you are doing it anyway, I recommend changing your password(s) ahead
of time to new ones, and then changing again when you return.
With your own laptop, and with some kind of internet connection there,
you can use VPN more securely.
