You can find out about the "sections" of a sysdiag diagnostic by
doing:

   sysdiag
   help consolan section

I think...I can't duplicate because our 10.01 system is being
snitty about running sysdiag, and

ARGH!!!

On 10.20, HP has replaced sysdiag with "Support Tools Manager",
(stm / xstm / cstm)
which is sigificantly different from sysdiag, and (at least
for everything I've tried to do) SIGNFICANTLY worse.

So...I got info about consolan from MPE's sysdiag (essentially the
same set of programs!):

   :sysdiag
   DUI>help consolan section

   Section 2 - Reset
Depending on the step selected, resets either the entire Console/LAN card,
the LAN port, or a specified serial port, as well as the associated driver
       software.

...
   Section 16 - Interactive Access
This section provides a more convenient means of accessing all the other
sections and steps in Consolan. It is useful in the event the user desires
to run more than one section before returning to the "DUI>" prompt, but
does not wish to be forced to specify every section and step in the initial
run string from the "DUI>" prompt.

...

So, I thought...let's run the interactive part...

   DUI >run consolan;section=16
*** WARNING: YOU NEED TO HAVE A self-maintainer/channel LICENSE TO
                 RUN THIS PROGRAM.

   DUI >exit

Sh*t. Altogether now: THANK YOU RICH SEVCIK!

NOTE: you'll need a password to run parts of sysdiag on your HP-UX machine,
as of 9.x (forgot what version added the password restriction).
