We are in the process of installing a network in our building. The wiring
is almost finished, and we would like to buy our first switch/hub. Our
users currently connect to the 3000 serially via DTCs, but we would like to
be able to establish network sessions. Here's the problem: our network
consultant recommended a switch (the Cisco Catalyst 2924 XL 24-port 10/100
autosensing switch) that does not have a BNC-T connector in the back.
According to Cisco, none of their switches have BNC-T connectors. I don't
know of a way to connect the 3000 to the network without one of these
connectors.

Does anybody know of a switch comparable to the one mentioned above that has
a BNC-T connector? Or is there a way to connect the thin ethernet coax
cable to a switch via an RJ-45 jack? Any other ideas?
