The 4004 BC math just does not make it. Read Genesis, first few chapters. If
you add all the patriarchs' age (Mathusalem -sp?- living 989 years, etc.)
and consider that, most likely, the Patriarchs did not father their
offspring in the very last years of their age, you get many more than 4004
years separating Adam from Jesus. I'd be interesting to see the detailed
computation that lead to this date.
