Hi all,
I'm trying to use ISQL to access some IMAGE data. It
appears that I have to qualify the table name each time I do a SELECT,
and that's really annoying. I'm unable to locate in the manual where it
shows how to just be able to use the unqualified table name in a select,
so I thought I'd see if anyone out there knows?
I have only 1 DB opened (connected), so it would seem a no-brainer that
the table I want is in the DB I'm connected to.
SELECT * FROM TABLE (this is what I want to do)
SELECT * FROM DBNAME.TABLE (and this is what I have to do)
The error, "Table/View [log in to unmask] not found. (DBERR 2206)"
seems to indicate that, absent the DB name, ISQL is using my logon name
and account as the DB name.
TIA for any help.
