I have come across a an error after setting up a new printer in
HP3000/EuroMACS.

I have printed a configuration page from the HP8000 printer and under the
protocol information there is a TCP/IP error of 40 with a message of ARP
Duplicate IP address.

What is also strange is that we can ping the IP address of the printer but
cannot telnet into the jetdirect menu.

The HP300 is approx 300 miles away from the printer and connected via router
- I can ping the router but not the printer. The printer also has a static
IP address on the network as well.

There doesnt appear to be anything on else on our network with the same IP
address - anyone have any ideas??

TIA
