Denis,
I was able to kill the diagmond process with your instructions.
Just one remark, I had to use the kill command without the -n option.
After that I did a patchix phase2 and the job gave me another error:
unable to delete CSTM.PUB.SYS. This seems logic to me because the first run
of the job purged that file already! Did a rebuild of this file and executed
once again patchix phase2. The job executed ok now. The only thing I have to
do now is reboot the machine tomorrow morning.
I wonder if hp is testing patch installations!? I checked if there were
special instructions for installing patch ODIMXQ2B or ODIMXQ2C: NO SPECIAL
INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED FOR THIS PATCH!
Thanks for your help.
Regards,
Pascal

and patch depe ndencies
Pascal,
Go into Posix Shell (XEQ SH.HPBIN.SYS -L), then use following commands:
Shell/iX>ps -ef | grep stm <= It will show you remaining stm
processes
Shell/iX>kill -n pid <= replace pid by diagmond process number
Shell/iX>ps -ef | grep stm <= Should no longer show stm processese
By the way, cstm daemons are automatically lauched at system restart
(when
you see message "successfully launched diagnostic monitor" message at
console so using START NORECOVERY NOSYSSTART will not forbid those
starting
!
Hope this will help!
