Frank,

Are you really using a file name of RADION378? This is 9 characters in
the MPE file space. Maybe when you did a changelog you accidentally
changed the name from an abbreviated version?

Subject: [HP3000-L] Help! CHANGELOG failed

Gentle list members:
I made so many work files that once CHANGELOG could not find disk space
to
build a new log file.
When I cleared some space, and condesed the disks, the problem remained:
LOG RADION, RESTART failed.
Error messages:
End of file on user logging file RADION378.PUB.IKINFO or process RADION
(ulogerr 8)
Unable to restart user logging process RADION (ulogmsg 28).

I found the workaround that changed the logids of my data bases from
RADION to DEVELOP. Its current LOG file was not full (stood at 7000 of
20000 records).

How can I reactivate the original logging process?
                        Have you any suggestions?
                                                TIA

                                                       Frank

You need three virtues in the life:
1. strength - to change the things which are changeable,
2. patience - to endure the things which are unchangeable,
3. wisdom - to distinguish the above two kinds of things.
