BTW, is that SHOWPROC (and not SHOWQ)?
My guess, not having looked too closely at the SHOWPROC output recently,
is that it is trying to interpret a field in the Process Information
Block that tells why a process isn't running. There are two main
fields, the "high level" PIB_WAIT_EVENT , and the "more specific"
PIB_BLOCKED_REASON. I would expect SHOWPROC to look at one of these
fields, compare the value to some known common values, and report
WAIT/READY/TRMIO/etc for them, and to simply report the numeric value
if it isn't familiar.
If that's what's happening, and assuming 29 is a decimal value, then
PIB_BLOCKED_REASON of #29 is is DSP_WAIT_QUEUE.
