I was reading an article in the Sunday, March 14 2002, edition of the
Spokane Review; financial section.  The article was about the HP/Compaq
Merger and said if the merger goes through HP could become the next target
for a takeover/buyout because it will be too distracted with the merger to
manage the day to day business affairs.  They concluded that is why Compaq
was on the market after it bought Dec.

So if the merger goes through maybe it should be a 'wait and see' attitude
about buying there stock.
