Of course updating the IMAGE/SQL database from the Excel spreadsheet
implies that it is possible that there are NO edit rules for putting the
data in the database ... I trust the use of triggers and stored procedures
is being enforced to ensure data integrity ... otherwise let's all coneect
to Friedrich's payroll database and give ourselves a raise (and an extra
career) from HP.
I would suggest that looking at the issue of unfettered access to the
database will produce most IT managers to pale!
