I wonder if anyone can help me with a query.

Under UX i can use a program called XJDM to find out the status of our
JetDirect printers. I believe that it's possible to to TELNET to the
JetDirect card/printer and configure them remotely. Iv'e searched the net
for the PCL/PJL/Esc Codes to perform the inquiry like XJDM must do (??) but
without success. Is it possible to retrieve this control panel info, or is
this a function of LPD ??
