ThinLan implies 10Mb and half duplex. Insure your switch thinks you are
half duplex. With duplex issues, the "full" side gets runts and CRC
errors, while the "half" side gets late collisions and runts, depending
on the hardware.
There is/was a TCP window size problem that made sending TO the 3000 a
problem, but you don't seem to have that issue. Check for collision
rates and double-check your duplex.
