Just about everyone in Tulsa has heard the name, although many
wouldn't know what Roy D. was about. (Roy D. Mercer is a fictional
redneck character that a Tulsa radio station DJ uses to prank-call
unsuspecting dupes who were sent in by ornery but well-meaning
acquaintances...)

His fishing reports are also quite entertaining. Roy has a few
tapes/CDs of his various calls available, but probably not on a
national basis.

Check www.kmod.com for a Roy D. "Welcome to the Internet" greeting. :)
