Howdy,

Jeff replied:

TPS certainly count unless you're in rocket science. MTBF should count
irregardless

I write:

I'm not much on picking on Jeff (or anyone else) but......I work as an
IS service provider for Lockheed Martin which, at this facility, constructs
major assemblies for Atlas-Centaur and Titan-Centaur orbital/escape
rockets (actually their missles but I'll skip that part). That qualifies
, IMHO, as "rocket science". MTBF aka "up time" is predominate
but trust me, TPS is right up there at the top of priorites.

Seems that up time and processing power is right at the top of everyone's
list, but then I've run into people who are very concerned with the color of
the machine.

Oh, yeah....along the lines of another thread I think Jeff Kell and UTC
are to be commended on an outstanding job. If I ever grow up I wanna
be like Jeff and go to UTC :-)

just my .02 centavos worth.
