I am under the impression that the only platforms "officially" supported by
HP are the 9x8, 9x9, A and N, and that they standardized EOS on all of them
to Dec. 2006, greatly simplifying this (same cannot be said for EOS on
peripherals...try figuring those out!! :( ). However, if you are a large
account, they can always make exceptions.

Their support web site does not acknowledge the existence of HP 3000's, so
I can't confirm that nothing has changed, but I have heard nothing to make
me think it has.
