Hi Alain,
    No prob hooking up third party printers ... just pick a printer def in NMMGR
that doesn't do bi-directional communcations or status checking :)

    Pins 2, 3 & 7 if I remember right are what you have to wire....  But don't
worry somebody will correct me if I remember wrongly :)

I am an HP3000 user and have been currently working with only HP =
printers.    I   need dot matrix printing and would like to know if any =
third party printer could be connected on a HP 3000.   If yes, please =
advise if any specific drivers are needed or does MPE recognise these =
third party printers.
