If the slide is genuine, you should ignore it if it's from HP. I remember
lots of pretty slides created by HP to promote the HPe3000!
But then those slides were never shown outside to the world; only those who
used MPE/ix would see them.

I just thought I should point out that this "leaked" slide seems
to show HP's announced plans for moving various OS'es to Itanium.
And it clearly shows HP-UX as one of the OS'es to be moved. To
think HP is getting rid of HP-UX from this slide is ridiculous!
I don't know if this slide is genuine or not, because I work in
the MPE/iX world and not the HP-UX world. But it is obvious to
me that it has nothing to do with the Compaq merger, and may be
an old slide that pre-dates the merger announcement.
