With the Express Release system, HP "appears" to have read Bob Greens
paper on software engineering. In my imagined perfect world, we would
receive 3-4 revisions of MPE in a year, each with a small number of
enhancements. Major tricks (like >4 gig files) would come out with
major releases.

And, of course, each release would be *numbered* in sequence (.1, .2)

. . . unless the releases are tracked on a Pentium (.1, .7, .003)

ps: Anyone who has not read Bob's paper should do so before staring any
new software projects.
