No; Athena and Bruno were the names for MPE III releases in the 1980-1981
timeframe. (This was the second or third in a line of unsuccessful
attempts to come up with an intelligible version designation scheme; the
effort continues to this day.)

MPE A/B/C were for the HP 3000 Series I; MPE C was the last release for
that machine.
