Have recently been reporting some oddities coming from JINETD job, and now...
This morning was having no issues sending updated program from Oz to Houston, but now when I try , the ftp session doesn't not prompt for a user logon, and just hangs. Happens at both ends. Each system can ping the other, I have reflections sessions up on both. ftp and telnet from windows both work fine to Oz system. Telnet to US from windows in Oz works, but ftp to US from Oz windows says 'connected to..' , then hangs, and after a bit gives 'connection closed buy remote host. Have killed JINETD and restarted it at both systems.
Both systems are 7.5, have same inetdcnf, except Oz has tftp commented out.
Any ideas please?
Regards,
John Pitman
