Greg Cagle asks the probing question:

> What's another word for thesaurus?

The answer is: "treasure".

Indeed, it's what the word "thesauros" originally meant in the form of Greek
that predated Latin. Thesauros is the singular root for both of the English
words, treasure and thesaurus. Close synonyms to thesaurus are collection,
storehouse, and the like.
