Unless, of course, you're going in the wrong direction.  Then turning around and
going back is the most sensible thing to do.

(I'm not saying this is the case with the 3000.  But there are other areas in
which HP needs to get back to its roots.)

Well written!  It is always fun to look at the rear-view mirror, of course.
But that will not get you anywhere.  It is vital to turn the headlights on
(if necessary) and to look AHEAD.
