I think perhaps it doesn't like the spool file because it was associated with an 
LDEV that no longer exists.  I say perhaps because I think it ought to default to 
LP, but I could be wrong.

If I am correct, your solution to omit it should work.  Once you have 
reestablished all your printer LDEVs try restoring @.OUT.HPSPOOL again.

Conversely, if I am wrong, you can try to create new spool files, presuming they 
are mostly reports and are not data constrained, like a payroll check that can 
only be created once from a database.
