We installed 5.5(5) to remediate some bugs in 5.5(4).

The main advantage: it bundles a lot of patches you might need later on on top of
5.5(4).

Our main benefit: we do not have any longer hanging sessions in IMP mode which
could not be aborted under 5.5(4). Now they are abortable!

Best regards, Andreas ("normally we're not the first but ...") Schmidt, CSC,
Germany

Subject: PP5 - Should I or shouldn't I?

I have here, on my desk, my MPE/iX PowerPatch 5 Tape, ready for install.
I've seen some horror stories here, and heard them elsewhere. I've also
heard good things.
So the question is - for anyone who wants to answer - should I, or shouldn't
I, update the 918DX to PP5?
TIA,
Joe ("I hate to be the first on the block, but...") G.
