Hopefully this is the EOT. Glenn Cole found the missing HP3000
configuration tool. It's still there, but, for the conspiracy-minded,
"someone" made it harder to find...

     accurate, but they exist.
     
     Anyway, I went to the "HP Enterprise and Technical Servers 
     Configuration Tool," then clicked "Continue..." on the currency page.
     When prompted to "Choose your base Server model" (wherein the list
     shows the 9000 systems), I changed the URL from 'hp9ks' to 'hp3ks'.
     
     Voila!  Prices!
