[log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 5 Feb 2001 09:36:25 -0500410_- I have a number of positions open in the Boston area for HP3000
programmers. I have clients looking for people with either Cobol or
Powerhouse experience. If you know of anyone who may be available, please
have them contact me as soon as possible.

Thank you for your help

In light of the BIND security issue, here is a bit of reading you will find
quite enlightening:

"Hacking Exposed: Network Security Secrets and Solutions",
by Joel Scambray, Stuart McClure, George Kurtz
Paperback - 703 pages 2nd edition (January 15, 2001)
McGraw-Hill Professional Publishing; ISBN: 0072127481

For those who already have the first edition, you know what a great resource
this is. The second edition has added information on Windows 2000 and Linux
along with other updates. Of course, it still shows you how to hack into
your systems as well as counter measures you can take to minimize your risk.
If you have not read either of these two books, do NOT post any security
questions on any listgroup until you read this book or have a method to
guard your anonymity when asking questions.
