I intend to turn my 3000/IMAGE into an XML datasource using a
"serverlets " approach through URL's over HTTP (while posting
similarly).

It would be utilized by a custom data source component on an NT server
which incorporates an HTTP client.

I would expect this approach to require "service-level" performance on
the network connection between the 3000 and the NT server due to the
increased latency. "XML caching" will be used to further improve
performance.
