My company, Haskel International Inc. is looking for a "Senior Manufacturing
Systems Analyst" in our Information Systems Department in a modern
manufacturing environment.

Job Purpose.
The candidate will analyze manufacturing systems & software, plan and
conduct projects to integrate manufacturing and Material Requirements
Planning (MRP) software.  Act as project manager for Shop Floor Control
(SFC) systems and MRP implementation.  Leads manufacturing user liaison and
training.  The candidate will also provide ongoing support and continuous
improvement of manufacturing and non-manufacturing user oriented systems
including definition and design of reports, screen and menu development, and
machine/user interface development.

Duties & Responsibilities.
Plans schedules and conducts projects for improving the MRP and SFC systems.
 Determines system/software application soluntions necessary to achieve
efficient user operations including analyzing detailed system factors.
 Could include equipment integration, processes, process control, capacity
measurement, costing, cell control, standard automated process operating
procedures.

Provides all aspects of technical guidance, application modification, user
documentation, and training for users.  Facilitates and obtains consensus on
end-user requests, manufacturing/business requirements, and current/future
hardware/software capabilities to determine proper solutions that fit
department and company goals.  Use written and oral skills necessary to
convey end user needs into complex sometimes abstract computer procedural
code, and vice-versa.  Participate as key member of migration onto new HP
UNIX system.  Programming and testing as needed in Powerhouse and other
languages.  Knowledge of KSAM, Image, and Borland's Interbase (or another
relational database) will be useful.

Background.
BS Computer Science.  Strong background/experience (5 yr) with manufacturing
systems and MRP including all areas outlined above.  APICS Certification
strongly preferred.  Experience with Powerhouse and HP UNIX required.
 Outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communcation skills required.
