Ray,

Tom is correct in his suggestion of using ",NEW;TEMP" in the file equation.
Doing so, the program is directed to create a new file and then, at close
time, place it in the 'temporary' domain.  Your program aborted because it
could not fulfill "your request" (conveyed by the existing file AND file
equation) of placing a permanent file in the temporary domain.
