yes, hp still writes 24*7, 4 hour *to respond* contracts.  my guess is
that many shops have this sort of contract.  the *to respond* phrase
means that you will hear from someone (i should think a hw ce) within
that 4 hour window.  it is *not* 4 hours *to repair* -- that's an
entirely different requirement.  (you can get a 4 hour to repair
contract *if* you're willing to pay for it....although i think 6 hour
to repair is what many shops have for systems that can't tolerate much
downtime.)  it's also worth noting that *to repair* means the broken
hardware is installed and the machine will power up and recognize the
hardware.  it does not include any data restoration time.     - d
