Unfortunately, there is no universally accepted definition of
"intrinsic" in the MPE world.  By Stan's definition, the VPLUS
procedures are not intrinsics, because they are not documented in the
Intrinsics Reference Manual.  Yet the VPLUS manual boldly refers to them
as such.
