Network printers.....work fine. We have some 1300 and 24xx around the
country somewhere (oz that is). Main variable is how much you do/see
remotely via a browser - some show a lot more than others. We have an HP
colour unit (big ), where I cant see ANYTHING via a browser - get a applet
failure msg. I hate the ones where you have to get a setup print out of it
to find out what IP its defaulted to, then reconfigure a pc or laptop to the
same subnet before you can set its ip - units without any display panel
usually force this on you.
Only config that has defeated me so far is trying to dynamically select
different trays for different paper under different ldev configs in
npconfig,
Eg plain and pre-printed, and having the ldevs use different paper source. I
got it to work on a Xerox , but never on an HP. Different makers seem to
user different tray numbering systems which doesn't help either. We are also
now using some 2200dn, and printing hp reports double sided, which is a
winner with the bean counters.

Subject: [HP3000-L] MPE and HP Printers
Has anyone had any experience, good or bad, with HP-1320TN and HP-2430TN
printers connected to an HP3000? If so, I would like to hear about it.
Thanks.
