Subject: [HP3000-L] OT: US Politics

While reading all these OT posts on the US Politics, it surprises me
that such attention is paid to the actual front-men, Bush and Kerry,
when the real power and policy making is controlled by the shadowy
people behind the scenes. Indeed the contenders are merely the public
face of American politics and what is said by either is pretty much
meaningless. What is important are the actions that the Administration
takes when they assume power. It is pretty common knowledge that Bush is
"guided" largely by such groups as the Carlyle Group, an immensely
powerful and rich group who manage a large amount of the world's arms
sales among other things and have among their members Bush Senior, James
Baker, Frank Carlucci, Former President of the Phillipines Ramos, some
of the Bin Laden family and Saudi Arabian Royals, John Major to name a
few. Considering the unanswered questions about Bush and his dealings
with the Saudi Arabians, voters in the US should be very cautious about
voting Bush's Administartion into another term. See
http://www.hereinreality.com/carlyle.html for more. No doubt people
like Shawn Gordon will try and discredit the information or sources but
he and others should really open their eyes and not blindly follow what
amounts to their own modern-day form of fascism.

Just my $.10.

Cheers,

John Dunlop
