We installed three LexMark T632 network printers as replacements for a
wide assortment of HP LaserJets marks and models. One of the features of
these new printers is that they each have two 500 sheet capacity feed
trays. However, I have discovered that when a print job is spooled by the
HP3000 to one of these printers then the second tray does not seem to
exist. In other words, if the first tray runs out of paper then the
second tray does not automatically provide any either.
I am wondering if there is some sort of PCL command to tell the printer to
select paper automatically from whatever tray is filled. I f anyone here
has such a setup string already in use then I would very much appreciate
having that information.
Regards,
