I have an issue with some third party printers and it is not vendor specific.
On large printouts the spooler gets "stuck" in a print state. So I end up deleting the spool file. The spool file goes into a DELPND state. Then I have to do an ABORTIO on the LDEV until it dies then a STARTSPOOL.
I'm fairly certain there is a time-out setting on the printer I should increase. But which one?
On one printer in question the WSD (Printer)/IPP Timeout was 900 seconds, so it couldn't be that.
The Host Timeout was only 15 seconds and that sounds suspicious but it usually maxes out at 60 (depending on Vendor).
Is that enough?
