It might also be suggested to upgrade the version of Reflection running as
well.  This also seems to clear up (to a degree) the hung sessions.

We are running MPE 5.5 PP7 and have never had an occasion where a hung-up
session stayed out there more than 2-3 minutes.

A way to avoid this condition is to upgrade your version of MPE. It's my
understanding that this problem with NS/VT hanging sessions has been fixed
in
newer versions. Another method is to begin to use telnet with the most
recent
patch, the one that is said to be the "advanced telnet" patch. The problem
of
hung sessions doesn't exist in that code.
