I personally have the following setup:
. 1x3000/928 on 5.5 pp1
. 1xWin NT 4.0 sp2
. 1xWin NT 4.0 sp1
. 1xWin95 4.00.950 (w/Plus Pak!)

Everything is working correctly (although it did take
a fair amount of tinkering, but I chalk that up to alpha/beta
testing). I do (really :) plan on putting a few web pages together
with information on installation/configuring/etc after IPROF.
I think one of the biggest potential problems with this is that
the client configurations can be extremely different. You've
got so many different TCP stacks and other drivers which
could cause problems that just because you can get one
PC working doesn't necessarily mean that the PC next
to it will also. IPROF will prove very interesting.

Host on 5.0, or client on Win95? You may be on to something here
Michael... I'm on 5.5 and fine with NT, but not 95. Is anyone
"successfully" running Samba on anything with Win95? And by
successful, I mean not only browsing but reading/writing, and
particularly to a user.acct secured share?
