this has been hashed thru a couple of times on the list.  to get 'batch' telnet you need to use perl or java (which will do the work 'under the covers') -- and these solutions can be completely mpe-hosted.  something like a qcterm/reflection/minisoft-based solution will require another pc/system.         - d
