Actually there is a rack mount for 9x8 systems.  If you have a cabinet
already it shouldn't be a problem.  The 9x8 will rack side ways in the
cabinet using a rack mount kit.  You will then take the face off the front
and replace it with a larger one that will actually snap onto the rack.  It
really looks clean when all is said and done.  You will have to shut the
system down to change cables around and stuff but other than that it is
really easy to do.  If you woul like I could give you a contact to call off
list that would practically give you the rack mount and find you the larger
face plate if you want to make it really pretty.
