You know pride -- which is one of the seven deadly sins -- comes across a
great deal more as classical hubris than any form of justified pride when the
person crowing about the magnificient educational opportunities in the United
States can't write a simple sentence correctly.

"[Since] when has it become a crime to show pride for [one's] country?"

But what the hell. You learned English all on your own, with absolutely no
help from anyone else. You certainly didn't learn the little bit of English you
know from any form of socialist government program, where your neighbors would
have, in their own enlightened self-interest, paid to educate you and your
brothers and sisters.

As good self-reliant, independent-minded Republicans, we don't need any
goddamned government interference in our education. We can learn all of the
physics, biology and medicine we need from comic books and science-fiction stories.
