As mentioned earlier (by me and others), the 5.5 beta sites are under
non-disclosure agreements and have been asked not to discuss the status
of unreleased software with the general population.

However, the timeline you got reported by the Response Center is fairly
accurate -- the 5.5 software has shipped to VABs and is scheduled to
ship to beta sites in a couple of weeks. I'll even go one step further:
the initial VAB shipments do not contain the Inbound Telnet
functionality, but the beta shipments will (the VABs will get the
Inbound Telnet functionality at the same time the beta sites will).

As to status of 5.5 as it is being developed -- I would be happy to
arrange some status to be posted here, if there is interest. At this
moment, I don't have any status to add to the comments I've shared
here.

BUT, I want to remind the beta sites that they are under
non-disclosure agreements. It would be inappropriate for
the beta sites to share comments here without HP permission.
